We at OnePageNews want to remap the validity of what is known in the United States as a PhD or Doctorate. As the decades pass the value of formal education is declined greatly. Students are raping their family’s savings, and graduating with unemployable degrees. For the students that don’t have families that can help, they take out massive student loans, and start their lives with insurmountable debt that will stunt any successful growth. We want to take you through the average composition of a college university, and briefly note who is giving authority to individuals to claim a supreme knowledge over others.
Colleges used to be composed of individuals who had lived life, and experience the fruits of their educations. They were paid fair wages, and only rewarded with accolades such as doctorates or terminal degrees if they could prove a real world application and success of their claimed knowledge. Today universities are havens for individuals who are unable to cope with the reality that is the corporate world. They were unable to create a business or survive working for others, so the coward back into the educational system that they have lived in since they entered kindergarten so long ago.
Now for K – 12, one could rationalize quite easily the need to teach basic education, except we know that this education and turned into a curriculum where the least educated in the room governs the maximum knowledge in the class. Your child will have to apply for advance placement (AP) courses in order to get the normal education available just two decades earlier.
Once the student leaves high school, they enter varying levels of additional education. For those wealthy enough to attempt major league schools such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, and the like, the faculty is composed of the world’s brightest minds who still serve the private sector on a daily basis. Harvard for instance assists in world affairs on a daily basis in the realms of law, investment banking, and science. However, not all universities have a staff of these exceptional resources.
Take your average academy. You will find more than 50% of the individuals have never stepped foot into the real world. Their knowledge lacks wisdom, and yet is taught with an arrogance that feels like fact. For several of the disciplines found in universities the areas of science passed down from generation to generation do hold up well, however. When a kernel of dogma is introduced into the stream of knowledge, it is often taught to students without a single grain of criticism, because the professors regurgitating these falsehoods are not worldly folks who research what they are taught themselves. The information is memorized and repeated without confirmation of its truth.
When it comes to the degrees that govern most of the top paying positions in the world, the PhD and even Master degrees are hilariously given by groups of individuals that have not themselves tested any of the theories postulated in thesis documents handed in to complete such degrees. In fact, the overwhelming majority of every staff member has most colleges around the globe lack any real world experience with any profession of any kind, and the proof is in the flood of students who graduate with nothing to contribute to society. The promise of course being that if a degree is earned, a salary is entitled. We know this isn’t the case.
So how do we fix this?
One of the greatest trends in American education are the side schools like DeVry, ITT Tech, and other private universities that teach as we did a century ago. These schools specialize in employable degrees. They set aside many of the distractions unrelated to getting a particular job done, and zero in on the meat of the responsibilities. We have seen many a friend go from two years at revolving door community colleges to one of these schools and right into jobs paying over hundred thousand dollars a year, and enjoying early retirement soon after.
As you guide your children through educational choices, always steer them towards rewarding careers that really exist, and that hopefully don’t require massive banking cartel bank loans to attain. The colleges are on the take, and many politicians and officials in the pipeline of revoking state funded educations are also on the take.
